CBR's Special Needs

Below are pictures, information and associated costs for some of the boxers needing extra medical care that Carolina Boxer Rescue (CBR) has taken into our program. Carolina Boxer Rescue is a non-profit, publicly supported organization. Without the help from private donors we would not be able to continue to take care of the sick boxers that come our way. We would not be able to provide these services if we depended on our adoption fees alone.  Please read some of these stories and consider making a donation to Carolina Boxer Rescue. Thank you for all your help! You may make a donation via paypal by clicking on the chip in button (next to each dogs picture) or you can send a check to the following address:

Carolina Boxer Rescue, Inc.
2402 Barnsley Court
Wilmington, NC 28411

All donations are tax deductible!
MochaBella is very sick.  She has cardiac and orthopedic issues and we need to raise money to get her the treatment she needs!  You can go to Mocha Bella's page for more details.  Please consider donating to this sweet girl's care!!

Update:  Dewey crossed over Rainbow Bridge.  His body was just too weak to overcome all of medical issues.

Dewey is a sick boy... he is very skinny, isn't eating well and has an enlarged prostate.  Dewey needs some further medical tests to determine the cause of his medical problems.  Please consider donating to his care so we can get him feeling better soon!  Current vet estimates just for the medical tests to determine cause are $431... this does not include the cost to treat him.

Thank you to Dewey's sponsors:

Fiona did not get along with the other dog in her foster home so she has been moved to boarding temporarily.  While being boarded a trainer will be working with her to overcome her issues with other dogs.  She has gotten along with a few calm, submissive dogs but in general seems to be happier as an only dog.
