5/15/2025:  Hey there, hooman! 🐶 I’m Turtle, and my foster mom says it’s time for me to tell you a bit about myself because I’m on the lookout for my forever family! I ended up as a stray when I was just six months old, but I’m quickly learning how to be a great pup. Foster mom says for a puppy, I’m a pretty good listener! I already know how to sit and stay, although my puppy brain sometimes takes over, and I forget. It’s all part of the fun, right?

I’m a petite guy, weighing in at just 35 pounds. I’m still learning not to jump up on people, but don’t worry – when I do, I’m super light on my paws! I’ve got a little puppy energy, but I’m also making great progress in my house training. Foster mom has me on a strict schedule, and I’ve only had a few accidents in the house. I’m getting the hang of it though, and with the right routine, I know I’ll be totally house trained in no time.

Now, I have to be honest about one thing—I’m not a fan of my crate. When I can’t see my humans, I can get a bit vocal with barking and crying. Foster mom says it’s something we’re working on, but I’ll need someone patient and dedicated to help me out with that.

Overall, I’m a sweet and playful pup just looking for the right family who understands that I’m still learning and growing. I’ll need continued training, but I promise you, I’m worth the effort! If you’re ready for a lifetime of fun, a bit of drool, and lots of puppy love, I’m your guy. Let’s make some memories together! 🐾
