Foster Spotlight: Meet Shota

Shota is a very regal, serious boy!  Don’t get us wrong- he does love his zoomies.  He can take a minute to warm up to new people, but once he is comfortable, he is a true wiggle butt!

He loves being with his Foster Mom, and LOVES a ride in her truck.  He is a country boy at heart, he likes room to run and then relax in a quiet home.  He is anxious when there is too much activity or noise, and is looking for a home with no other fur or skin siblings under 16.  Plus, he has more than enough love to fill a home!

Shota is a big, powerful boy and can pull on his leash when he is anxious.  A big space to roam is what his heart really desires!  Ideally with a tall fence, as this big boy can easily clear a 4 foot fence.  He is very smart, responds to commands and can even do a few tricks.  He loves to be around people, just as much as he’d love to stay home while you work.  He doesn’t like crates, but luckily, he is such a good boy inside that you don’t need to crate him.  He never tears up things, and devotes his attention to his beloved stuffed animals, and his Nylabone.

He has been known to rock some jammies or a sweater in chilly weather!  (Shhhhh…. don’t tell him we told you…)  He also prefers not to dine alone, and asks you sit with him twice daily for his meal.  He is happy to return the favor!  Shota is truly a giant teddy bear, and is looking for a forever home to fill with love!
