It’s hard to believe that we’re approaching the close of another year! The year 2023 has been a tremendous success, and we owe it all to our incredible supporters. However, our mission is far from complete. There are still many boxers in need of our help, and as we inch closer to the holiday season, your support becomes more vital than ever.

How can you make a difference?

As always, your contributions have a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of our beloved boxers. We want you to know that our rescue operates entirely on a volunteer basis, with no salaries paid. When you donate to CBR, you can rest assured that every penny goes toward fulfilling our mission.

There are numerous ways you can lend your support to our rescue:

• Make a One-Time Donation: Whether through PayPal, Venmo, or a traditional check sent to our mailing address (PO Box 87, Hampstead, NC 28443), your one-time donation will make a real difference.
• Join The Nub Club: Consider setting up a monthly donation. Recurring gifts enable us to save even more dogs, as we can rely on consistent funding to support our efforts.
• Name a Nub: Honor a loved one or cherished pet with a special donation that bears their name, forever associated with the lives we save.
• Sponsor a Hospice or Foster Dog: Provide essential support to our hospice and foster dogs who require extra care and attention.
• Become a Foster: Open your heart and home to a boxer in need by becoming a foster parent. Your love and care can change a dog’s life.

In August alone, your generous donations played a crucial role in saving countless boxer lives and covering over $14,000 in medical expenses:

• Event donations totaled $1,400.
• One-time and recurring donations exceeded $9,000.
• Product donations contributed nearly $800 to our cause.

As we approach the end of the year, we have several exciting fundraisers on the horizon, including a Holiday shirt fundraiser. Keep an eye out for our charming Boxer Christmas Cards, which will be available in our store in the coming weeks.
