Good with kids?: Houston LOVES kids! We have a 2-year-old & a 6-month-old and he adores them. He loves to give kisses and follow my toddler around the house. I think he will do best in a home with older kids (5+), or with younger kids who are used to big dogs. He tries his best to be gentle, but he is a puppy, so he does jump, steal toys, nibble etc. He is easily corrected and responds well to verbal praise.
Any medical issues?: No.

House trained?: Yes.
Heartworms?: No.
3/7/2025: Paw-some Update 3/7: Hey, it’s me, Houston, reporting from my first vet visit today! I must say, I totally nailed it. I sat there in the waiting room like a perfect gentleman, watching all the other furry friends stroll by. Not once did I jump up to say hello to any humans—though it was tempting!
The best part? I got a big thumbs up from the vet—a clean bill of health, they called it. That means I’m all set and ready to find my forever home! So, if you’re looking for a well-behaved, healthy, and downright charming companion, look no further. I’m your pup! 🐾
3/3/2025: Houston has been with us for just over a day, and oh boy, has he already made himself at home! At first, he was a bit shy, but it didn’t take long for him to warm up to us – and now he’s all tail wags and puppy eyes. Our 40-pound female puppy has found a new playmate in Houston, and they’re already the best of friends, chasing and tumbling around like they’ve known each other forever.
Houston was a star in the car, sitting calmly and taking in the sights with those curious eyes. On the leash, he trots along like a pro, without any pulling or fuss. It seems like he might not have had much training before, but he’s a quick learner. He’s already responding to his name, which is quite impressive!
With his sweet face and charming personality, Houston is bound to be a wonderful addition to any active family. We’re looking forward to more adventures together and will keep you posted after our vet visit on March 7th. Stay tuned for more tail-wagging updates! 🐾❤💕
