1/2/2025: Allow me to introduce you to Russ, our delightful foster dog, who is approximately nine years young and currently residing with Carolina Boxer Rescue! 💕 Despite facing challenges early in life, Russ’s endearing and gentle nature radiates brightly each day. He is swiftly acclimating to the comforts of indoor living, and we couldn’t be prouder of his progress!
From Russ’s perspective, there’s nothing quite like the thrill of his long walks, where he can indulge in endless sniffing and exploring to his heart’s content. At night, he transforms into a “crate champion,” enjoying a restful slumber. Since joining our family, Russ has gained over five pounds, though he still has a little way to go before he’s ready for surgery to remove his masses and undergo neutering.
This lovable fellow is a friend to all—be it dogs, cats, or children! And let’s not overlook his absolute favorite indulgence: food. 🍖 Who could blame him? After everything he’s endured, Russ truly deserves all the delectable treats and belly rubs the world has to offer.
