12/31/2024:  Hello there, it’s me, your timid but lovable furry friend! The world out there is a big, scary place for a pup like me, and I’m on a journey to learn how to trust. Foster dad? Well, he still gives me the jitters, but I’m working on it. Foster mom, on the other paw, I’m starting to warm up to her. She’s got this gentle way about her that makes me feel safe, although I still need a little extra patience.

One of my favorite things? Snuggling up by the fire with my trusty bully sticks. Oh, and I’ve discovered the joy of cuddling next to mom in her bed at night – it’s like a warm, fuzzy dream come true!

Foster mom says I’ve got a long road ahead in the trust department, but she also says I’m making progress every single day. She calls me the sweetest girl, and that makes my tail wag with happiness. Here’s to more snuggles and trust-filled days ahead! 🐶💕

12/7/2024:  Oh, woof woof! I’m wagging my tail with excitement to be part of the CBR family! They’re taking everything at a nice, slow pace just for me, which is pawsitively perfect because I can be a bit of a scaredy-pup at first. I need lots of patience and gentle encouragement to help me come out of my shell.  You see, lots of things make me nervous, like when someone picks up stuff around me. I might hunch down and cower because I’m just not sure what’s going on. And, oh boy, men can be a bit intimidating for me. It takes me some time to sniff them out and feel safe. But guess what? I’ve already warmed up to my foster dad! He’s pretty pawsome, but when I meet new humans, I need a little extra time to decide if they’re friend or foe.  But here’s the best part: all this extra attention and love I’m getting is simply the best! I don’t think I’ve ever felt so loved in my whole furry life. Foster Mom says I have to stick around for a while before I can find my forever home because I’ve got something called heartworm. But that’s okay, because I’m in good paws with CBR, and I know they’ll take care of me until I’m ready to find my perfect family. 🐾❤️
