Hi hi hiiii! It’s Chico, and I’m almost ready to find my forever family once I finish my heartworm treatment. I figured I’d hop on here and tell you all about me… because I’m kind of awesome.

Let’s start with the important stuff:

🎾I LOVE toys.

If it squeaks, bounces, or can be tossed across the room, I’m in. Play fetch with me? AMAZING. Busy and can’t play? No problem — I’ll entertain myself like a champ.

🦴 Bones? Yes. Always.

I’m a professional chewer. I take my job seriously.

💗 Hugs & Kisses = My Love Language

Give me some affection and I’ll find a cozy spot to chill. I’m great at keeping myself occupied… as long as I know my people are close.

😬 A Little Nervous at First

I’ll be honest — I get a little nervous when I meet new people or when my humans disappear from sight. But once I feel the love? Ohhhh boy. I will show you ALL my love. We’re working on my “don’t panic, they’re coming back” skills, and I’m getting better every day.

🕵️‍♂️ Yard Inspector Extraordinaire

I LOVE walking around the yard and supervising whatever you’re doing. Planting something? I’m checking it. Fixing something? I’m sniffing it. Just standing there? I’m inspecting that too. I’m a nosey boy, and I make sure everything is done right.

I’m sweet, playful, affectionate, and just need a family who understands that I’m a little sensitive at first — but once I trust you, I’m all in.
