7/17/2024: Once Smitty trusts you, he is all in. He’s a huge snuggler and would just as soon be touching his person. He likes to watch tv, but sometimes he’s convinced that the characters are real. He will bark and then sniff the air. Once he realizes there is no threat, he’s back to the show. He’s learning to sit and walk on leash but likes to be paid in chicken. He’s starting to play with toys, chase balls, and he gets the cutest zoomies. His inner boxer is starting to come through, and he seems to learn something new about the joys of life and being a family member every day. Smitty has so much love to give, and the people who get him will be one lucky boxer family. Oh, and he smiles and has the most precious underbite! Let’s keep giving Smitty all the reasons to smile!
