At Carolina Boxer Rescue, we’re powered by passionate volunteers who give their time, energy, and hearts to help us rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome boxers across North and South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia. Whether you’re behind the scenes or on the front lines, there’s a role for you in our pack!

Plan and manage local events to raise funds, connect with the community, and celebrate our rescue work.

Graphic Designer
Use your creativity to help save lives. Graphic Designers create eye-catching graphics for social media, fundraising campaigns, events, email marketing, and website content. Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is preferred.
Donor Retention Coordinator
Help Carolina Boxer Rescue build stronger relationships with the people who make our mission possible! This volunteer role focuses on thanking donors, sharing the impact of their gifts, welcoming new supporters, and encouraging continued giving through thoughtful follow-up and stewardship. Commitment: 3–5 hours per week.
Volunteer Grant Researcher
Help Carolina Boxer Rescue find new funding opportunities to support our mission! The Grant Researcher will identify and evaluate grant opportunities, research funder eligibility and priorities, and maintain an organized pipeline of prospective grants. This remote volunteer role requires approximately 3–5 hours per week and is ideal for someone who enjoys research, organization, and supporting animal rescue.

Data Quality & Salesforce Coordinator
Help Carolina Boxer Rescue keep our data accurate, organized, and up to date! The Data Quality & Salesforce Coordinator will review records for accuracy, ensure information is entered correctly into Salesforce, identify duplicates and missing information, and support reliable reporting across our organization. This remote volunteer role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with databases or spreadsheets. Salesforce experience is a plus, and a commitment of approximately 3–5 hours per week is preferred.

Volunteer Coordinator Assistant
Carolina Boxer Rescue is looking for an organized, people-oriented volunteer to assist our current Volunteer Coordinator in supporting and managing our growing volunteer team. This role will provide additional capacity to help with volunteer recruitment, onboarding, communication, recordkeeping, and coordinating volunteers with opportunities that match their interests and skills. Working alongside our Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll help ensure volunteers feel welcomed, supported, appreciated, and connected to CBR’s mission. If you enjoy working with people, staying organized, and helping others make a difference for boxers in need, we’d love to hear from you!
