As we reflect on 2025, one thing is clear: your generosity directly changed and saved lives.
Throughout the year, Carolina Boxer Rescue raised over $350,000 in total support and revenue, allowing us to continue rescuing boxers in need across our service areas. The single largest expense we faced in 2025 was veterinary care, totaling more than $270,000. These costs included emergency medical treatment, surgeries, spay/neuter procedures, medications, specialty care, and end-of-life services for dogs who needed compassion most.
Thanks to donations from individuals, recurring supporters, medical fundraisers, grants, events, and community partners, we were able to meet these veterinary needs head-on—ensuring that no dog went without care due to cost alone. Your support also helped cover boarding, food, medications, training, and other essential services that allow our foster homes and volunteers to focus on healing and rehabilitation.
We are proud to share that CBR closed 2025 with a positive surplus, allowing us to enter 2026 in a stronger, more sustainable position—prepared to help even more boxers in need.
Every dollar you gave in 2025 made a real difference. Thank you for standing with us, trusting us, and helping give boxers the second chances they deserve.
