Hospice Fosters
The following dogs came into CBR to find Forever Homes, but as we got to know them and had them vetted it was determined that they had terminal issues. They are being loved and cared for by their foster homes for the remainder of their lives.

Not sure if you’d recognize this girl… because… she’s SMILING and energetic… but it’s Fospice VENUS, (Veenie Weenie) Checking in!! Rescued at 37lbs…. And while still underweight… she is holding at 56lbs!!
She’s a MOMMA’s girl Fo’ Sho…. But when Mom’s away, she has her very own bed in Dad’s office she camps on…
She has taken to seeking refuse in open/unlocked crates too….. she still get’s anxious at loud noises, yelling or LOUD children…. So she seeks safety and peace from Momma or a crate. Overall though, she is fierce. She stands up for herself.
She no longer eats in secret or hiding…. She actually prefers Mom be nearby when eating… and she eats with ALL 4 other dogs…. She loves treats, venison and apparently, she’s a fan of her expensive new kibble!! Nom, Nom, Nom.
Favorite chew toy? Mom’s slippers.
Favorite past time? Sleeping (Snores LOUDLY)
Born to? Defend the house from doorbells and delivery persons.
Other hobbies: singing the songs of her peoples when spotting people in the woods, wet kisses, mcdonalds, french fries, laying across the Ladies chest and pinning her to couches.
We will never know how long she has… but sometimes I wonder if she fooled us all…. And will live forever.
Mama. Is 15 years young and being well-loved and cared for by the CBR hospice. Her comfort and well-being are of utmost importance, especially in her advanced years.
Hey, Georgia here. I have got moved to my hospice home just before Thanksgiving 2023. I have been diagnosed with mammary tumors/cancer and spots on my lungs. CBR decided it is best for me to just continue to live my best life in their care!
Since at my hospice home, my fospice (foster hospice) parents noticed I had some hind end stiffness, so CBR is taking care of that as well! I am now on joint supplements and pain relievers. It is helping!
I have a fur brother who is such a gentleman to me. I also get to spend time with the grand dog and grandson. I enjoy them being here, but they are a little much for me! Being 5 years old it is hard for me to know I shouldn’t play that hard! I love them! Fospice parents make sure to keep me separated when I need to rest and recuperate.
Hey, Ruby Sue here. Due to my advanced years and chronic pancreatitis. I’m being loves and cared for by CBR hospice.
