As we step into March, Carolina Boxer Rescue is hitting the ground running—literally and figuratively! February was a busy month for us, as we welcomed 33 new Boxers into our program. Each one of these sweet pups is on their journey to a second chance at life, thanks to the unwavering support of our incredible volunteers, fosters, and donors.
On the financial side, vet bills continue to be our biggest challenge. With the rising cost of medical care and the extensive treatments many of our rescues require, every donation truly makes a difference. We are beyond grateful for those who contribute, whether through monthly giving, one-time donations, or participating in our fundraising efforts. If you’ve been looking for a way to help, please consider making a contribution—every dollar goes directly to saving more Boxers in need! In 2024, the cost per boxer in our rescue totaled $790!
Now, let’s talk about something exciting—event season is here! Spring and summer are packed with opportunities to meet fellow Boxer lovers, support CBR, and have some fun while doing it. Whether it’s a fundraiser, a meet-and-greet, or Boxerpalooza, we’d love to see you there! Keep an eye on our social media and website for upcoming events near you.
Finally, we have to ask—have you ever considered fostering? The number of Boxers we can save depends entirely on the number of open foster homes we have. It’s one of the most rewarding ways to help, and we provide all the support you need. If you have space in your home and heart, we’d love to welcome you to our foster family!
Thank you for being part of this amazing community. Together, we’re making a difference, one Boxer at a time!
