I will be honest, I felt terrible when I got to the shelter. I am only 7 but I acted like an old lady. But no more! The shelter folks checked me over and although there was a lot going on, they knew it was all fixable. I also showed them what a good girl I am. Soon after, my angels rescued me. CBR knew they could help and thought I deserved it. It has taken some time to get me healthy but it worked! Can’t you tell? Look at this smile!
It is because I have gone through those hardships that I can appreciate and have gratitude for the simple things in life. I don’t need a fancy bed. The floor at your feet is where I want to be. I don’t need a huge yard and to be run ragged like young pups. A patch of sunshine where I can watch the world for a while suits me just fine. I get along well with my foster brother because he is chill like me. Young dog shenanigans are just too much. I really like my foster mom’s grandkids and will happily sit for all the ear scratches they can give. I’m just so happy to be feeling good again and have a chance for a family to love. Could it be you?
*Note from Foster Mom: Rocki is just the sweetest girl. Her personality is slowly emerging as her body and heart heal. It has been a pleasure to be her soft landing. Her easy and affectionate nature will make her a perfect companion. She has the best smile. You can just look at her face and see her happiness. I would love to tell you more about her!
