Good with kids?: Hudson is very playful and bouncy, but in his excitement (and with a bit of typical boxer clumsiness) he may accidentally knock small children over. It’s best for him to be around kids aged 10+ or those who are familiar with the rambunctious nature of boxers.

Hi! I’m Hudson, a Boxer mix with a big heart, a big personality, and a very big love for my people. I’m currently on medical hold while I go through heartworm treatment and get my FTO surgery, but I’m looking for a foster‑to‑adopt family who will love me through it all.
Let me tell you a little about myself…
When I come out of my crate, I get so excited that I zoom straight to the door like I’m late for a very important meeting. I love attention — seriously, just look at me and my tail starts wagging like it’s trying to take off. If you give me pets, I’ll sit pretty and soak up every second.
I’m a huge fan of humans, but I also have a hobby: squirrel hunting. Those little fluffy‑tailed creatures fascinate me, so I’ll need a good, secure fence to keep me safe while I’m on patrol.
We’re working on my leash manners — I’m a young pup who didn’t get much practice before rescue, but I’m learning! I’m full of life, full of joy, and full of gratitude. Foster Mom says knowing I was rescued with only hours to spare makes me extra special… and I think she’s right.
During the day, I hang out in my crate like a perfect gentleman. I’m not destructive, I have the most beautiful coloring, and I’m obsessed with bully sticks — they’re my number one favorite thing in the whole world.
