3/20/2026: Meet Baylee: Your Future Shadow and Best Friend
At six years young, Baylee is the perfect blend of a sophisticated lady and a curious explorer. This smart, loyal girl is looking for a forever home where she can be your constant companion and professional “neighborhood watch” reporter. Baylee is a total people person who absolutely adores kids, though she prefers to take things slow when meeting other dogs. While she currently lives with a foster fur-brother, they’ve decided they aren’t quite destined to be best friends, so she’d appreciate a patient approach to any new canine introductions.
Life with Baylee is never boring because she is incredibly inquisitive and always wants to be part of the action. Her foster dad says she’s so smart you can’t fool her twice, and her foster mom rave about how well-behaved she is. She has even mastered the art of opening any door that isn’t fully latched—mostly because she has a serious case of FOMO and doesn’t want to miss out on whatever you’re doing! When she isn’t following you around like a shadow, you can find her perched at the window, diligently letting you know exactly what she sees outside.
Don’t expect Baylee to be an early bird, though; she loves to sleep in and is the ultimate partner for a cozy morning. She’s also a bit of a refined “food critic”—a picky, messy eater who carefully chooses only the pieces she wants. She recently tried blueberries for the first time and, after some deep thought, has officially added them to her approved list! While she’s still learning to love the great outdoors, she’s making great progress and is even learning to ring bells on the door when she needs to go potty. She handles her kennel with ease (especially if a treat is involved!) and always comes when she’s called. If you’re looking for a clever, devoted girl to fill your home with love, Baylee just might be the one. 💕🐕
2/28/2026: Hi! I’m Baylee, and I’m on the search for my forever family 🐾
I loved my car ride to my foster mom and dad’s house—wind in my fur, ears flapping, living my best life. I’ve only been here about a week, so I’m still figuring things out. My foster brothers and I are… a work in progress. One of them and I could probably be roommates, but the other? Let’s just say I might shine brightest as your one and only.
I really like the backyard, but I prefer not to go out there alone—potty time is better with company! Rain doesn’t bother me at all, but wet feet? Hard pass. Foster mom says I’m very well behaved, and foster dad says I’m very smart (he also says you can’t fool me twice). If a door isn’t fully closed, I can open it—mostly because I don’t want to miss out on whatever you’re doing.
I’m okay with the kennel and will go in without much fuss, especially if a treat is involved (hint, hint). I’m a bit of a picky, messy eater and like to carefully choose only the pieces I want. I recently tried blueberries for the first time—had to think about them for a bit—but I’ve decided they’re pretty good!
I’m curious, inquisitive, and like to check out everything… including what’s on the counters. I come when you call me, and I’m learning to ring the bells on the door when I need to go potty. If you’re looking for a smart, loyal girl who wants to be your shadow and your best friend, I just might be your Baylee 💕🐕
