Each month, Carolina Boxer Rescue steps out into the community—meeting supporters, adopters, volunteers, and curious passersby who didn’t know they were about to fall in love with a boxer. These events help us raise funds, share our mission, and put real faces to the work happening behind the scenes. They also help me practice standing still while people say, “Oh my goodness.”

CBR @ Rock’N Paws

What’s Happening: Come see us at Barefoot Landing for a tail-wagging good time at Rock’N Paws in the Dockside Village area. Enjoy live local music on the Pepsi stage, visit with the local animal shelters and rescues, and learn more about them.
Easter Eggstravaganza

Sandhills Dog Fair

What’s Happening: The Sandhills Dog Fair will return in 2026 with a community dog day at the Pinehurst Village Arboretum. Attendees can browse dog‑related vendors, meet adoptable pets, take photos, enter contests, enjoy music and food, and participate in raffles supporting local rescues and shelters.
Raleigh/Durham Area Volunteer Meet-Up
