10/22/2024:  Hello, my name is Libby! I’m a four-year-old, all-white beauty with the cutest freckles you’ve ever seen. My foster dad always tells me I’m a happy and affectionate little lady. He can’t help but laugh at me because my little nub of a tail is always wiggling, and when it wiggles, so does my whole butt!

I adore spending time with my foster siblings and, of course, my foster dad. If he ever dares to ignore me, I’ll gently paw at him until he gives in and showers me with rubs. Dad often remarks on how laid-back I am for a boxer my age, though it might be because I’m currently undergoing heartworm treatment.

I do get quite excited when my siblings or Dad move around, or if I hear the delightful crinkle of a wrapper. Dad says I’m very food-motivated, which makes me quite trainable. Oh, how I love my treats! Sometimes, Dad calls me stubborn, especially when it’s time for a late-night bathroom trip. If I’ve been napping, waking up to go outside isn’t my favorite. I might sulk a bit to let Dad know he’s disrupted my beauty sleep, but I always comply in the end.

Now, there’s one more thing Dad wants me to mention. Remember how I said I’m a bit stubborn? Well, I absolutely refuse to do stairs. No way, no how. I’ll only go if someone carries me. Dad has tried everything to coax me up those steps, but I’ve stood my ground every time.

I’m generally quiet and don’t bark much, unless someone comes to the door or fence. Then, I’m all business, making sure they’re not up to any mischief, like stealing our precious goodies.

Occasionally, I get a bit adventurous. I might sneak a paper towel or magazine and have a little fun tearing it up. Sometimes, I find a random spot to dig a small hole, turning my pristine white coat into a Ronald McDonald orange hue.

That’s about it for now. Please don’t get the wrong impression. Dad always says I’m a sweet, loving, and beautiful baby.
