Aemond- 6 Years old – Available Now

$375.00

Dog’s Name: Aemond

Dog’s Approximate Age: 6 years old

Gender:Ā Male

Dog’s Size: Medium (50lbs to 70lbs. as adult and healthy weight)

Dog’s Weight: 54 pounds

Tail: Docked (Short)

Good with small dogs?: He has met several small dogs and shown curiosity without any issues. In his foster home, he lived with a 30-pound dog, and they got along well. Based on these experiences, he appears comfortable around smaller dogs, though, as with any dog, slow introductions and proper supervision are always recommended.

Good with big dogs?: Aemond lives in a foster home with two dogs his size and a Labrador, and he generally gets along well with them, especially during outdoor play. He is an enthusiastic and playful dog who is still learning about personal space, and occasionally he may get a little too close, which can create minor tension. With proper introductions, supervision, and ongoing guidance on doggy manners, Aemond has the potential to be a wonderful companion for a home with larger dogs.

Good with cats?: Has not had exposure to cats in foster care.

Good with kids?: His foster home includes a third grader, and Aemond gets along wonderfully with him. One of their favorite activities is Aemond simply lying in the child’s room to keep him company. ā¤

Aemond loves treats and can get a bit enthusiastic at times. When children approach with a closed fist, he may assume they have a treat and give them a sniff or a lick. He might also try to sneak food from a child’s hand if given the chance, so supervision around food is important, especially for younger kids.

Overall, Aemond is an affectionate, people-loving boy who enjoys being around children and being part of family life. He will thrive with a family that appreciates his enthusiasm and is committed to helping him continue learning good manners!

Any medical issues?:Ā Aemond currently has no known ongoing medical conditions. He previously had cherry eye in both eyes, which was surgically corrected, and he has fully recovered.

He has raised bumps on his front paws, likely from spending extended periods on concrete before coming into foster care. Fortunately, his foster family has observed that the bumps are gradually diminishing.

Aemond also seems to have had occasional hot spots on his back, though he has not experienced any problems with them in his foster home. He has a few small, white, tick-like growths on his belly that were examined by his veterinarian and determined to be harmless. Rest assured, they are not ticks!

Crate trained?: Working on it.

House trained?: Yes.

Heartworms?: No.

11/2/2026: 🐾 Meet Aemond, Your Personal Space Invader! šŸ¾ā¤

Aemond came to rescue as a stray, so we don’t know how he lost his way or why nobody chose him at the shelter. We can only guess that his cherry eyes may have played a part in him being overlooked. The good news? Those have been corrected, and now it’s time for Aemond to find the family who sees just how special he really is!

Let’s get one thing straight: Aemond LOVES his humans. And when I say he wants to be next to you, I mean NEXT TO YOU. As in, no space between you whatsoever. Forget personal space because Aemond certainly has! Don’t worry, though. He’ll keep you nice and warm all winter. Come summer, he may decide you’re a little too hot and give you a few inches of breathing room. Maybe.

Aemond can go into a kennel, but he’d much rather be with his people. If you kennel him while you’re home, he’ll be sure to let you know exactly how he feels about that arrangement. His ideal home is one where he can hang out with his humans and be part of whatever they’re doing.

He’s perfectly happy sharing his home with other animals, but let’s be honest: his humans are his favorite part of the package. He gets along with other dogs, enjoys attention from children, and loves being included in family life.

Aemond knows what a house is, and he likes the indoor life very much! Two-story homes aren’t necessarily his favorite because those stairs are awfully tall when you’re working with short legs. But don’t count him out! At his foster home, he figured out that a running start gets the job done, so now he can make it upstairs and choose which bedroom he wants to sleep in. Because obviously, Aemond should have a say in these important household decisions.

And then there’s his other special talent: coffee-table surfing. We can’t really call him a counter surfer because, well… he’s simply too short. But leave food unattended on a coffee table or end table, and Aemond can make it disappear faster than you can say, ā€œWHO ATE THAT?!ā€ Sometimes he’ll even do it knowing full well you’re watching. That half-slice of toast the kid left on the end table? Apparently, it was absolutely worth hearing his foster family yell his name!

Underneath all that mischief is an incredibly loving, affectionate boy who simply wants to be close to his people. Aemond is ready to leave his stray days behind and finally become someone’s much-loved family member.

Could you be the family he’s been waiting for? If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your home with love, laughter, a little mischief, and absolutely no personal space, Aemond might just be your guy! ā¤ļø

10/2/2026: 🐾 Hi future family! I’m Aemond — Belly‑Flopping Lowrider, Toy Expert, and Professional Melter!šŸ¾ā¤

Hi hiiii! It’s Aemond, your soon‑to‑be favorite little lowrider with a BIG personality packed into my adorable compact body. I’ve only been in my foster home for a week, and Foster Mom already says I’m the best dog. I agree.

Now, you might be wondering how I ended up in the shelter for over two months. I’ll tell you the truth: I have a tiny cherry eye. That’s it. Just a little eye blip. But don’t worry — I’ve got an appointment with the doggie eye doctor, and we’re gonna get that taken care of. Easy peasy.

šŸŽ¾ Let’s talk toys.

I LOVE toys. All toys. Every toy. When I got to my foster home, I immediately discovered the XL Kong — a toy the four resident dogs had decided was ā€œboring.ā€ Not me. I knew exactly what to do with it. I’m a toy prodigy.

🫠 Introducing: The Aemond Meltā„¢

This is my signature move. If I want to be cute… If I think I might be in trouble… If I want belly rubs… If I want you to fall in love with me… I sloooowly lower myself to the floor… And roll over… And present my belly like a dramatic little prince. It works every time.

🚪 About going outside…

If Foster Dad says it’s time to go potty and I think there’s even a tiny chance I’m being kicked out of the house, I will plant myself at the back door and MELT. Absolutely not. You are not sending me away. I live here now.

šŸ  Crate Opinions

If my people are home, I do not want to be in a kennel. If you’re free, I should be free. That’s just logic.

As I settle in and realize this foster home is safe, my personality is shining brighter every day — more silliness, more belly flops, more toy adventures, more melts.

I’m sweet. I’m goofy. I’m expressive. I’m hilarious. And I’m ready to show someone just how much love, laughter, and personality one little lowrider can bring into a home.

Could that be you? ā¤ļøšŸ¾šŸ’•šŸ•šŸ¾ā¤šŸ’•
