Hi! I’m Louie, and according to my foster family, I am the world’s greatest mush‑mellow. Not “marshmallow”… mush‑mellow. Because I mush myself right into you and mellow out instantly. It’s my brand.

My favorite thing in the whole world is laying around with my head on your lap. Or on top of a couch pillow. Or on top of you on top of a couch pillow. I’m flexible.

I also LOVE my squeaky ball. I squeak it. I chase it. I carry it around like it’s my emotional support fruit. It’s perfect.

Inside the house, I’m basically a gentleman in a dog suit. ✔ No accidents ✔ No chewing things I shouldn’t ✔ No chaos Just pure, soft, snuggly Louie vibes.

Now… about walks. I’m very new to this whole “leash” and “outside the yard” thing. When I leave my safe zone, I get anxious and bark at people and dogs. I’m working on it every day with my foster dad, but I need time, patience, and a quiet environment to help me feel secure.

The Ultimate Gentle Giant

Even though I’m a handsome, sturdy boxer, I have the soul of a gentle lamb. My fur is incredibly soft, and I am surprisingly gentle. In fact, my absolute favorite thing in the world is climbing right up into your lap to give you soft, sweet face kisses. I honestly believe I was destined to be a giant lap dog, and my dream is to find a family who will cuddle with me all day and maybe even save me a cozy spot in the bed at night.

Smart, Low-Maintenance, and Playful

I am a very smart cookie, and I learn new things incredibly quickly. I’m already house-trained, crate-trained, and I have excellent house manners (no destructive shenanigans here!). I also don’t require a crazy amount of exercise to keep me happy. I’m more of a chill companion than a high-energy athlete. Give me a light walk, a fun round of fetch with my absolute favorite thing in the universe—a ball!—and I’m perfectly content to settle in for a relaxed day.

My “Security Detail” & Covid-Pup Quirks

Because I was a “Covid baby,” I didn’t get to meet a lot of new people or experience many new things when I was a puppy. Because of this, my first instinct when I see a stranger or a new situation is to be a little startled, and I will bark to let you know. Think of me as your very own, very cute home-security system!

While I might sound tough at first, it’s really just my way of saying, “Hey, I’m a little unsure here!” The good news is that I’m incredibly eager to please. With a few quiet minutes, some patience, and—most importantly—some yummy treats, I quickly realize I’m safe. Once I know you’re a friend, I instantly melt into a puddle of wiggles, happy energy, and deep devotion.
