Hi future family! It’s me, Squidward, reporting in with my big soft heart and my even bigger desire to find a forever home.

I came to rescue with an unknown past, but whatever my story was, I’m showing everyone every single day that I’m a gentle, loving soul. I don’t need much — just kindness, a comfy spot, and a human to adore.

When Foster Mom took me to the vet, I thought it was a social event. I greeted everyone like old friends, charmed the staff, and politely checked out the other dogs in the lobby. I wanted to say hi and maybe have a little fun, but I waited my turn like a perfect gentleman.

At home, my favorite place is wherever my humans are. If you’re in the kitchen, I’m in the kitchen. If you’re in the yard, I’m in the yard. If you’re relaxing on the couch, guess who’s right there beside you? I don’t need constant entertainment — just your company.

When it’s time to settle down, I’m wonderfully adaptable. I’ll sleep in my kennel, curl up on your bed, or snooze on the floor next to you. As long as I’m close, I’m happy.

I’ve met neighbor cats from afar and didn’t react much at all, so Foster Mom thinks I’d likely be fine with a feline friend. I’m still learning about kids — sometimes I bark on walks when I’m unsure or excited — but I’m working hard on building confidence and good manners.

I’m a gentle, loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be part of your everyday life. My past may be unknown, but my future? I’m ready to make it bright.
