Hi, friends! Millie checking in with a little update on my long journey toward feeling healthy, happy, and ready for my forever family.
Foster Mom says I’m still absolutely perfect — and honestly, I couldn’t agree more. I’m so grateful for all the love, patience, and medical care I’m getting while I work on becoming the healthiest version of me.
I recently had my eye surgery, but we discovered I’m allergic to the sutures… who knew?! So my recovery took a few unexpected twists. But don’t worry — I’m a tough little cookie, and I’m not letting anything slow me down.
Over the next couple of months, I’ve got three more surgeries ahead of me. Once I’m all healed up and officially ready, I’ll be searching for the forever family I’ve been dreaming of.
For now, I’m soaking up every ounce of love from my foster family, enjoying cozy naps, gentle cuddles, and taking things one day at a time. I still have a long road ahead, but I’m surrounded by people who believe in me — and I know my happily‑ever‑after is out there waiting.

7/6/2026: 🤎 Hi, I’m Millie — Your Chocolate Bulldog with a Big Heart and an Even Bigger Comeback Story!
Hi future family! I’m Millie, and I’m pretty sure I’m the cutest chocolate English Bulldog you’ll ever meet. My journey is just beginning, and thanks to CBR, I’m finally getting the love, comfort, and medical care I’ve needed for a long time.
Right now, I’m focused on healing. I’ve got some serious infections to overcome and a couple of surgeries ahead of me, so it’ll be a few months before I’m ready to officially search for my forever home. But don’t worry — my foster family is spoiling me with all the cuddles, cozy naps, and my absolute favorite thing in the world… butt scratches. I live for those.
While I recover, I’m learning what it feels like to be a happy, healthy pup. I’m discovering toys, soft beds, gentle routines, and all the wonderful things that come with being safe and loved. My rescue family will keep everyone updated as I get stronger and start showing more of my silly bulldog personality.
