10/21/2026: Hi there! My name is Petal, and if you’re looking for a giant love bug, your search is officially over! 🐾❤

My favorite hobby? Being wherever you are. I take my job as Personal Shadow very seriously. Whether you’re in the kitchen, on the couch, in the yard, or just moving from one room to another, I’ll be right there making sure you’re never lonely.

My foster family keeps telling me I’m “too big for laps.” Honestly, I’m not sure where they got that idea. I continue to test this theory daily and remain convinced that I am, in fact, a lap dog.

Unlike some young Boxers, I’m not interested in running marathons or organizing backyard wrestling matches. Give me a comfy couch, a cozy blanket, and a human to snuggle with, and I’m living my best life. Netflix binge? Count me in. Lazy Sunday? Perfect. Five-hour cuddle session? Now we’re talking.

I get along well with other dogs, but I’m more of a “friendly roommate” than a “play all day” kind of girl. Toys are still a bit confusing to me but hand me an antler to chew on and I’ll happily entertain myself.

My foster mom says I’m an old soul, and I think she’s right. I’m sweet, calm, affectionate, and absolutely devoted to my people. I even enjoy meeting new humans and was happy to make friends at the vet’s office.

I’m still building my confidence when it comes to the big world outside. New places and leash walks can make me a little unsure, but I’m learning every day. At home, though, I’ve got great manners. I know “sit” and “come,” and I’m potty trained. Sometimes I get so excited to be inside with my people that I forget to take care of business outside first, so I’ll need a family willing to keep me on track.

If you’re looking for a lower-energy Boxer with a heart as big as her head, endless love to give, and professional-level snuggling skills, then I might just be your perfect match.

Love, Petal Chief Cuddle Officer, Lap Dog Enthusiast, and Full-Time Best Friend ❤️🐾💕🐕🐾❤💕
