4/13/2026: Hi. They say my name is Velma, so I guess we’re going with that. 🤷♀️
Here’s what I know so far: I got picked up, taken to a house, and—boom—suddenly I have my humans. I’m still a little on medical hold right now, but I’m using this time to perfect my most important skills: snuggling, kissing, and staying extremely close at all times.
I love crawling into bed with my humans because laps are good, but beds are better. Mommy gives me lots of kisses, and I fully support this behavior. In fact, I encourage it. More kisses = better day.
I prefer my humans to stay exactly where I can see them at all times. When they try to leave, I get confused… and slightly offended. Apparently this has earned me the nickname “Velcro.” Which is weird, because I’m pretty sure my name is Velma. But if “Velcro” means “never leaving your side,” then yes, that is also me.
I’m sweet, affectionate, and very devoted to my people. I’m the kind of girl who will happily be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your emotional support blanket rolled into one dog-shaped package.
Mama has a treat now, and I never miss important meetings like that—so I’ll talk to you later.
Love,
Velma (also known as Velcro, apparently) 🐾💕🐕🐾❤💕
