If you’ve got a ball, you’ve got my heart and my undivided attention. Tennis balls, squeaky balls, giant balls—yes, please! Toss it once and I’m ready for round two, three, four… until you sit down and I gently remind you again. I’m also a big fan of people. I may seem a little shy at first (gotta do a quick vibe check), but once I trust you, I’m all in—think loyal sidekick vibes, happy tail wags, and a pup who just wants to be near his person.

I’m still working on building my confidence, so I’m hoping for a home that’s steady, calm, and predictable—somewhere I can keep learning that good things happen here. I’ve even shown a knack for opening handle doors! I’d do best with someone who works from home or is around most of the day, so I can keep growing my trust and feel secure.

A fenced backyard (at least 5 feet tall) is a must for safe ball-related business. I also love having a strong, heavy-duty crate (like a ProSelect-style crate) for my cozy “Gouda cave” when it’s time to relax. Right now, I’m working on putting on a little weight and eat separately from other dogs. I’ve shown some food resource guarding (especially with smaller dogs), so thoughtful mealtime management will help me feel comfortable and set me up for success.
