Good with big dogs?: Bach does well with a gradual introduction and some space when he’s feeling overwhelmed. He’s not a big fan of sharing toys and can be a bit territorial.

Good with cats?: Has not been cat tested.

Good with kids?: Bach is great with kids and has spent time around our energetic 5- and 8-year-old boys. He gets excited and enjoys all the pets and attention they give him.

Any medical issues?: Three small cancerous lumps were removed.

Crate trained?: No.

House trained?: Yes.

Heartworms?: No.

4/6/2026: Meet Bach (pronounced like “Bawk!” when I’m excited)

Hi, I’m Bach—professional cuddle connoisseur, part-time comedian, and full-time “please love me forever” kind of guy.

My favorite things:

  • Snuggles (the deluxe kind).
  • A soft, warm spot to snooze—bed, blanket, or that coat you absolutely were going to wear out the door. If it’s on the floor, it’s basically a dog bed.

Even though I’ve earned my distinguished white-faced senior status, I’ve still got some pep in my paws and I enjoy playtime. Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks?

A little note about my “communication style”:

I’m a consent-based kinda guy. If I’m feeling crowded or unsure, I might give a small grumble as a polite, verbal “excuse me, can I have a little space?” I’m looking for a dog-savvy leader who understands that my grumble isn’t me being mean—it’s me asking for what I need to feel safe.

My most charming feature:

My long tongue has a mind of its own and likes to stick out. I like to think it makes me exponentially cuter (and I’ve yet to be proven wrong).

Walks!

I get VERY excited for walkies. Sometimes my excitement turns into a little extra commentary, but I’m food-motivated and working hard on keeping my cool. Cheer me on—I’m trying my best!

Hi there, I’m Bach! If you’re searching for a furry friend who’s all about love, fun, and squishy snuggles, your search might just be over. My favorite thing in the world is getting pets and snuggles from my foster parents—seriously, I could hang out on the couch getting cuddles all day long!

I’m a pro at finding the softest spot in the house, whether it’s my cozy dog bed or a pile of kids’ blankets (those are extra comfy!). When I’m not snuggled up, you’ll find me happily munching on treats—yum! Treat time is the best time.
