7/9/2026: 🐾 Hi, I’m Mason — The Sweet, Curious Boxer Who Finally Found His Zoo! 🐾❤
Psst… hi! I’m Mason.
My journey started at a shelter where my family and I were told we’d be safe and cared for. Before long, the amazing folks at Carolina Boxer Rescue loaded a few of us up for a long road trip. My sister and I ended up in a foster home with a welcome mat that says “Welcome to the Zoo.”
I was confused at first — I’m a Boxer, not a zoo animal! But turns out… it’s the best kind of zoo. There are several dogs, a kid, a couple of humans, and even a summer baseball player who’s a temporary foster too. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but now I absolutely love everyone here.
One of my favorite things is the huge fenced yard where I get to run, play, and finally stretch my legs like a dog should. Foster Mom says my back legs are a little weak, probably because I spent too much time in a kennel before coming here. The good news? I’m getting stronger every single day with exercise, playtime, and lots of love.
I’ve also discovered that adventures are fun! Foster Mom took my sister and me to meet some cats. Honestly, I wasn’t too interested — I wanted to check out the toy basket instead. My sister thought one of the cats was a squeaky toy. Silly sister… I knew the difference.
I’ve been on a few car rides too. At first I was nervous, but now I think they’re pretty relaxing. I just sit back, watch the world go by, and enjoy the quiet time.
Everyone keeps telling me I’m such a calm, sweet boy. When Foster Mom took me to the vet, one of the staff picked me up, cuddled me, and asked if I’m always this easygoing. I was just taking everything in! I’m getting neutered while I’m here, and everyone has promised I’ll be cared for every step of the way.
Now it’s time for my most important adventure — finding my forever family.
If you’re looking for a gentle, loving Boxer who enjoys people, loves playing outside, rides nicely in the car, and has the cutest curious personality, I might just be your guy. My only special request? I’d really love a canine buddy who enjoys cuddling as much as I do.
Could that be at your house?
Apply to adopt me through Carolina Boxer Rescue — I can’t wait to meet my forever family. 🧡🐾 💕🐕🐾❤💕
