Meet Maximillian! I’m a handsome Boxer with a big heart… and an even bigger love for tennis balls. Seriously — if it bounces, I’m obsessed. Whether I’m chasing my favorite toy, soaking up sunshine, or riding shotgun in the car, I’m happiest when I’m hanging out with my people.
I’ve already mastered “sit” and “house,” and I’m working hard on “come.” I walk very nicely with a no‑pull harness, but if I’m wearing a martingale collar… well, let’s just say my enthusiasm sometimes takes over. I’m a work in progress, but a very good boy.
Like most Boxers, I’m affectionate, people‑oriented, and just a little needy — in the best way. After spending two months in a shelter, I’m more than ready for a home where I can finally relax on my very own sofa, curl up in a comfy chair, or (my favorite option) claim a warm human lap.
I do have one funny little quirk: when I get excited, I give gentle “nibbles.” I forget to keep my lips over my teeth sometimes — oops. It’s all love, but because of that, I’d probably do best in a home with older kids who understand my playful personality.
