3/31/2026: Meet Ozzie: Your Professional Cuddler and Aspiring Conversationalist
Hi there! I’m Ozzie, a 2- to 3-year-old Boxer with a lot to say and even more love to give. I’m currently looking for my “forever teammates” to help me navigate the world. My foster mom says I’m a total head-turner—I get compliments everywhere we go because I’m a perfect gentleman in public and a rockstar in the car.
If you’re looking for a shadow, a nap partner, and a dog who truly believes he can talk to you, I’m your guy!

My Typical Day
• The Morning News: I’m very vocal! When the sun comes up (or when you walk through the door), I’ll greet you with my signature “shriek-bark” to tell you how happy I am. If it’s a bit much for the neighbors, just pop a toy in my mouth—it turns my shouting into the cutest muffled happy dances.
• Adventure Time: I am a dream on a leash. I love my walks and taking in the sights. Since I’m so well-behaved in public, I’d love to be your plus-one at a dog-friendly patio or office.
• The “Free Range” Life: I’m not a fan of the crate (I’m actually a bit of an escape artist), so I do best in a home where I can free-roam. I’ve worked really hard on my “relaxation skills” with a little help from the right meds, and I’m finally able to just kick back and chill.
• Olympic Cuddling: My favorite hobby? Being near you. Whether it’s the couch or the big bed, I want to be tucked right up against my humans.

My Quirks & Needs
• Big Feelings: Sometimes, when I really need your attention or get a case of the “intense zoomies,” I can get a little overstimulated. When I get that confused, I might try to grab at your hands or feet. Don’t worry, though—the best fix is for you to get down on ground level and give me a big hug! It grounds me and reminds me that everything is okay.
• The Kitchen Rules: I am very food-motivated. If you leave a snack on the counter, I’ll consider it a gift for me! I’m a professional “counter surfer,” so a tidy kitchen is a must.
• The Roommates: I absolutely love other dogs! In fact, I need a confident dog sibling to show me the ropes. However, cats are a no-go for me.
• The Humans: Because I’m a big, bouncy boy who doesn’t quite realize my own size, I’d be happiest in an adult-only home or with older, dog-savvy kids who won’t get overwhelmed by my size or overstimulate me.

Think we could be a match? I promise to pay you back in wagging tails, morning stories, and the best snuggles you’ve ever had.  🐾❤💕
