Good with small dogs?: Gypsy is the sweetest and shyest boxer! The neighbors’ dogs often wander into the yard to visit, but she hasn’t met any small dogs yet.
Good with big dogs?: The neighbor’s dogs are all large breeds. She trots around our yard with them but never leaves it.
Good with cats?: Has not been cat tested.
Good with kids?: Gypsy has spent time with a few adults and tends to be very shy around new people.
Any medical issues?: She was emaciated when I first got her. She and her breeding mate had been abandoned in a house, and sadly, the male died of starvation. Gypsy has since gained weight and looks fantastic!

I’m on the hunt for my forever home, and I think I might be your girl. Life didn’t start out very fair for me—I came into rescue abandoned and far too skinny—but those days are behind me now, and I’m ready for the happy ending I deserve.
My favorite job is being your little shadow. I’ll gladly follow you around the house, out in the yard, and wherever else you go, just to make sure you don’t get lonely. I like to keep a close eye on my people—it’s part of my charm.
I’m also a professional back-rub enthusiast. Seriously, if you stop petting me too soon, I may gently place my head on your leg as a polite reminder that more rubs are required. I’m sweet, loving, and very good at asking for affection in the most adorable way possible.
What I really want is a family to love, a soft place to rest, and plenty of pets along the way. I’ve been through a lot, but I haven’t let it stop me from being kind, hopeful, and full of love.
